Method for preparing water-soluble acrylic epoxy resin

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing water-soluble acrylic epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps of: performing half ring-opening reaction on epoxy resin and alkyl monobasic acid under the catalysis of tertiary amine, and controlling the molar ratio of the alkyl monobasic acid to epoxy groups in the epoxy resin to be 1:2 in the reaction process; and performing esterification reaction on the epoxy resin and acrylic polymer under the catalysis of the tertiary amine. By accurately controlling the using amount of the alkyl monobasic acid, the ring-opening reaction degree of the epoxy resin and the generation of an esterification product are ensured. The epoxy resin subjected to half ring-opening reaction comprises only one epoxy group, and only one carboxyl is esterified when epoxy monobasic acid ester obtained through half ring-opening reaction and acrylic acid are subjected to esterification reaction, so the reaction process is stable, gelatination can be avoided, and the method is suitable for mass production.
一种水溶性丙烯酸环氧酯树脂的制备方法,包括环氧树脂与丙烯酸聚合物在叔胺的催化下的酯化反应,还包括酯化反应之前,环氧树脂和一元烷基酸在叔胺的催化下发生的半开环反应,反应过程控制一元烷基酸与环氧树脂中环氧基团的摩尔比为1:2。通过准确控制一元烷基酸的用量,确保了环氧的开环反应程度和酯化产物的生成。由于半开环后的环氧树脂仅剩一个环氧基团,将半开环后的环氧一元酸酯与丙烯酸进行酯化反应时仅有一个羧基酯化,因而反应过程平稳,不会凝胶,可大规模生产。
